Flashmix sold to the eco-responsible company for the manufacture of cleaning products
An FMX50 with a 40-liter hopper and trolley has been sold to a small eco-responsible company that develops organic and natural products based on plant extracts, seaweed, and natural active ingredients.
An FMX50 with a 40-liter hopper and trolley has been sold to a small eco-responsible company that develops organic and natural products based on plant extracts, seaweed, and natural active ingredients. The company manufacture innovative marine and vegetable cleaning products for the home such as laundry detergents, soaps, dishwashing liquids, and other multipurpose cleaning products. Their basic formulations are based on plant extracts, along with a marine algae ingredient, which when combined with soap increases the effectiveness.
After lab trials with an L5M and a successful scale-up with a Bottom Entry mixer back in 2014, the company recently purchased an FMX50 powder/liquid mixer to use with 200-gallon tanks to increase their production volume and improve their production process.

Using Flashmix allows their products to be manufactured at ambient temperature, saving them money on heating costs. Using Flashmix allows their products to be manufactured at ambient temperature, saving them money on heating costs. They can also add the powder at floor level and the controlled powder addition using the hopper has helped them to minimize foaming, especially in their dishwashing liquid production. Even though the customer already owned a Silverson mixer, changing to a different model has helped to improve their manufacturing process.
The Flashmix has worked so well for them that they have now purchased the ATEX version for their production of hand sanitizers.
