Metal Powder Systems for 3D Printing

Volkmann designs and manufactures fully automated metal powder handling systems for 3D printing. These customized, closed loop systems automatically transfer the metallic powders from storage to the printer or to multiple printers through enclosed piping. Then it automatically extracts excess or depowders unused material from the build box, sieves the material to remove agglomerated particles, and returns it to storage for future reuse or transfers it to the 3D printer mixed with virgin material for immediate reuse.
