BS&B Explosion Suppression Systems are designed to detect and suppress dust deflagrations in their early stages before they can generate pressures exceeding the strength of the process equipment. The initial pressure excursion is detected by the Unitized Sensors. When at least two of the three individual pressure sensors within the Unitized Sensor respond they activate the Explosion Suppression Cannon(s) discharging the food compatible sodium bicarbonate suppressant into the process equipment.
