Although mixing and blending appear to be different words to describe the same thing, we ‘split the hair’ by assuming mixing requires shear, in varying intensity, to combine two or more products. On the other hand, blending infers little to no amount of shear is introduced into a rotating or folding motion.

At Meto Systems we provide blending equipment to suit various forms of intermediate sized rigid containers,  from pails to portable totes. The lack of shear lends the process to handling delicate product, and the drive to use portable containers as the actual blending vessel  negates clean down and cross contamination.

We also design into our technology  flexibility to allow future expansion, upgradable controls, and in our larger blenders, the ability to  lift the container out of a heavy base. Blending just the bottle reduces the out of balance mass, and does not compromise the center of mass for efficient blending. Multiple lift heights and swiveling are available to suit any application requirements.
