Drum Inverter Column Lifts

METO Systems’ fixed, freestanding or ceiling mounted drum inverters are used throughout the industry to transfer raw or process material from drums into a further down-stream process. Swivel options include manual or powered actuation.

Flow control ranges from butterfly valves, rotary valves, or iris valves which all have the option for powered actuation as well. All discharge cones or product contact surfaces are constructed from 316L stainless steel. Standard included angle for discharge cones is 60 degrees with 45-degree options available for restricted head space areas. The main column and structure is 304 stainless steel, and the stationary inverter can have up to 3 axes of motion. Both pneumatic and electric models are available, with easy, simple to integrate control systems.

METO Systems also offers a mobile version of our pneumatic drum inverter as well. For everything that the stationary drum inverter does the mobile unit will do on the move. Equipped with four abrasion-resistant, non-marking wheels, this model can present the material directly to the point of use, lessening the need for the addition of conveyors. With either a standard column or a telescoping column, we can pass through standard doorways to deliver drums directly to process.
